Bloom Montessori Preschool serving Longmont, Frederick, Erie, Niwot, Gunbarrel, and Boulder.

Welcome to Bloom Montessori School!

Bloom! Montessori® School was founded in 2009 by Joshua and Abigail Miller, who sought to create a premiere Montessori learning environment for preschool students in Longmont, Colorado.

A Supportive Learning Environment

Bloom! Montessori® is Longmont's only authentic full day (8-5:30) Montessori Preschool. At Bloom!, we provide a beautiful, child-centered, meticulously prepared preschool environment for children between the ages of two and six. Our philosophy supports education as a natural process which occurs spontaneously as the child interacts with his or her world - nurturing the development of every child's full potential. We maintain a small class size, which never exceeds twelve students, and a teacher-student ratio of 1:6 to ensure that your child receives the individual attention they need.

Conveniently Located in Longmont, Colorado

Conveniently located in Longmont's Southmoor Park neighborhood, we provide an authentic Montessori education program scheduled to meet the needs of modern families. Check our schedule options for more details.

A Certified Montessori Preschool

Bloom! Montessori® School distinguishes itself as a member of the American Montessori Society (AMS).  We are also members of the North American Montessori Teacher's Association (NAMTA) and licensed by the State of Colorado Division of Childcare.

Integrated Suzuki Violin Program

3-6 year old students have the option of participating in our Suzuki Violin Program. Participants take a weekly Suzuki lesson at the school and have the option of practicing, with the help of Bloom! Montessori® staff, during the independent work periods.

"That humanity which is revealed in all its intellectual splendor during the sweet and tender age of childhood should be respected with a kind of religious veneration. It is like the sun which appears at dawn or a flower just beginning to bloom. Education cannot be effective unless it helps a child to open himself up to life."

- Maria Montessori
"The Children's House has a twofold importance. It is socially very important that it is a 'school within a house.' In the first place, it must create among the people of the place and the families of the children a sense of peace, cooperation, and well-being, or intimacy that had hitherto been unknown in education. The children work together in a kind of paradise, uninfluenced by the kind of education that children receive in school. These circumstances, which might seem to preclude any favorable outcome for a school, proved to be a necessary condition. It was here that those surprising events took place which roused the curiosity and stirred the admiration of the world such as 'the unexpected manifestation of writing and spontaneous reading,' 'spontaneous discipline,' and 'free social life.' It has solved many social and educational problems. Though it may once have seemed utopian, it has helped to transform the home. It touches directly the most important aspect of society, that is, man's own inner life."
